I love to celebrate Mother's Day by honoring my mom with a basket full of thoughtful gifts I know she will love. My mom has a favorite chair for reading and relaxing in. This year I focused on creating a fabulous gift basket full of accessories for this spot!
First I started with finding the perfect basket. HomeGoods was my first stop. I love the shape of this basket and the pom poms are a fun accent.
To make her reading chair cozier I added this beautiful textured throw and lumbar pillow. I know she will appreciate the extra detail of tassels.

Unfortunately I can't give my mom a Hawaiian vacation; but I can transform her reading nook into a tropical paradise with one of her favorite scents, plumeria. The reed diffuser will last a year. The plumeria linen & room spray can even be used on her skin as perfume. Malie Organics has many luxurious scents all made in Hawaii.

Instead of live flowers I've chosen this book of gorgeous blooms. When she opens this book she will be transported to a charming tour of Paris architecture and elegant flowers. A lit candle adds so much ambiance! My mom will love the light delicate scent of lavender and vanilla in this clean burning soy candle.

My mom loves her coffee! Every year I find a pretty new coffee mug to brighten her morning routine. I love this sweet notebook she can jot her shopping and 'to-do" lists in.

I think my mom will love this fabulous Mother's Day gift basket. But I also know that my favorite Mother's Days are the ones I spend with my daughters. Whether we have brunch, go to the movies, go shopping, or go on a spa trip, I always treasure the moments I spend with them! I know my mom feels the same, so I will be planning a trip soon so I can spend that special mother daughter time together for Mother's Day.
