Pink is everywhere! I hope you're not tired of it in decorating, I'm not. But it can be a bit intimidating to use in decor. If you've been wanting to try pink in your home I think this is the perfect month to try it! I have always associated romance with this color, so Valentine's Day is the perfect excuse to use pink in your home. I think if you try it, you will love it in your home too.
If you're reluctant to go bold with pink, how about starting with accent pillows? With white as my backdrop these soft velvet pillows look so inviting on my sofa. The muted pink tassel throw adds even more texture to this space. My sofa feels fresh and sophisticated!
Pink can be so glamorous! These bold mixed shades of pink in my rug add a hint of glamour to my otherwise mundane white home office. Pink has personalized my home office making it a special space for me.
Pink flowers are my favorite way to accent a room. They really pop when placed in a neutral setting.
How about using pink accessories too? Here all I needed to do was stack up pink books for the desired effect.
Another easy way to introduce pink into a space is with artwork. The space over my bed was a perfect place to showcase this beautiful photo of pink peonies.
I was so fortunate to find this pink quilt at HomeGoods, pulling more pink into my bedroom.
With a few more simple accessories on the nightstand, I can say my bedroom is now pink and white, with a decidedly romantic vibe.
Entertain with pink. A beautiful way to share pink with your friends and family is to entertain with pink! These pink glasses and napkins are a beautiful way to use pink in a table setting.
How about a pink cake? In this neutral setting this dessert is a standout! You can find the recipe for this delicious Raspberry Cake in my previous post.
For Valentine's Day pink is perfect for the bar cart. Pink champagne is a must!
I hope I've tempted you to try pink in your decor (if you haven't already)! Now I know you want to continue the blog tour and see Sheila's decor ideas at Maison de Cinq. I love Sheila's beautiful casual chic style and I know you will too!
