Spring Cocktails for Easy Entertaining

Spring Cocktails for Easy Entertaining

I have spring fever! I can't wait till the weather warms up and the spring season starts. Springtime is loaded with entertaining opportunities. Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, graduations, wedding showers, the list seems endless! The longer warmer days of spring are perfect for gathering friends and family for backyard barbecues.

I love spring entertaining! I have already made a list of easy spring cocktails to feature this spring on my bar cart. It's so fun to offer your guests a special cocktail. It shows your friends that you made an extra effort and appreciate them.  These recipes are easy because I want to join the fun and not be stuck as a bartender. I think you will agree with me that these easy cocktail recipes are beautiful as well as delicious!

My bar cart is placed by the sliding door that leads on to the patio. It's the best location for my friends to grab their special cocktail, then join everyone outside for the party. I like to decorate the bar cart various ways for each celebration. This spring I wanted to brighten the area with this painted signed artwork from HomeGoods. No matter what the occasion, I always have a bouquet of fresh flowers on the bar cart. I have found an amazing collection of barware, glassware and trays at HomeGoods. It's the best place to shop for fun decor items to set your party's theme.

~flower punch~

Edible, pesticide free flowers like violas, carnations, marigolds, and nasturtiums are pretty floating on top of punch bowl or individual glasses. Google for more edible flower choices. Add seltzer just before serving.

Have extra melon, cucumber, lime, and mint available for garnish!

Pop the cork on the prosecco just before serving!

I am sure you are as anxious as I am for spring! I hope I've inspired you to serve a special spring cocktail this year. However you decide to entertain this spring remember to keep it thoughtful yet simple, so you have time to join the party!

Cheers! xoxo~joan
