Bar Cart Decorating Ideas for Halloween
Halloween is usually second only to Christmas for a child's favorite holiday! The chance to play dress up and make-believe while gathering candy from their neighbors on a dark scary night is so much fun! I still love Halloween. The weekend before Halloween is the perfect time for the adults to celebrate this holiday their own way! This is something I love doing this time of year: decorate my bar cart for Halloween and have a few friends over for cocktails.
I love decorating with a banner. It sets the scene! This is a beautiful black glitter banner I found at HomeGoods! The great thing about banners is that they take up hardly any room when it's time to store them away.
I love these haunted houses from HomeGoods! So spooky! I lined the cutout windows with pink tissue paper to create a black, white, and pink theme for this bar cart. I had to fit this jack-o-lantern in somewhere, so he is under the house giving it height and interest.
Poison is the perfect accent for a Halloween bar cart.
My bar cart decor for Halloween is definitely about bones! Skeleton bones. Then I added creepy, crawly spiders to complete the spooky picture.
In keeping with my black, white, and pink theme are these skull and cross-bone glassware as well as my blush pink stemware from HomeGoods.
Kids love the candy they receive from trick-or-treating. What about a delicious adult candy cocktail! Who loves almond joy candy bars? Here's a cocktail that will remind you of the yummy candy.
In a cocktail shaker put ice and 1 oz. chocolate vodka, 1 oz. Frangelico, and 1 oz. coconut rum. Shake and strain into martini glasses. I coated the rims with black and orange sugar just for fun! The adorable black cat cocktail napkins are purrfect!
